Laura Wade is passionate about training people on obtaining strong, peaceful, and powerful minds. As people engage in their own emotional fitness routines, they discover what it’s like developing their mind into a deeply enjoyable place. Her passion stems from her youth, when she realized her eating disorder may take her life. She spent years pouring over textbooks on psychology, looking for “the answer”. She saw the issue wasn’t a math equation, changing the external variables would never produce peace. Instead, she found the mind is like an injured limb, which required exercises to return mobility and strength. With a background in psychological counseling, she also utilized research to develop exercises to support the mind in thriving. For 10 years, Laura has worked with clients and at public events, weekend workshops, and at universities to create authentic emotional experiences facilitating healing. She now created Life Gym, which offers exercises for emotional fitness.
